Hey there! I'm Alyssa, a creative strategist who traded the West Texas dust for the hustle and bustle of Dallas about 8 years ago. By day, I'm all about supporting young women in their academic journeys through a mix of strategic partnerships, event planning, and general program magic. Now, I'm itching to bring my strategic mindset back to the creative field, where I feel most at home. Concept Boards

Crybaby | Dijon

The concept board for Dijon's song "Crybaby" visually captures the protagonist's intense emotions and desperate desire for vulnerability at the outset of a relationship, using repetition in the song to mirror childlike communication and evoke an earnest attempt to connect.

Hot Cheeto Girl

The emergence of the "Hot Cheeto Girl" as a cultural phenomenon describes women of color exuding a bold attitude through vibrant styles, but it has also raised concerns about appropriation, highlighting the complex dynamics of cultural influences and expressions in contemporary society.

The concept board for Bennett Coast's song "Seeds" encapsulates the nuanced emotions of the early stages of a relationship, exploring the complexities of transitioning from friendship to something more, and serves as a visual guide for creative projects that aim to visually represent the profound feelings and uncertainties expressed in the lyrics.

Photography

My creative interests began as a photographer. My passion is in portrait photography, but I also gained experience in product photography during my time at OuiPlease. My photos have been edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.
